im doing a project on what soldiers did during world war oen for rest and relaxation ,and cant seem to find any good sources, if anyone has any knowledge of this or any good websites for it, thatd be awesome!

My grandfather was in WWI, he didn't like talking about it much, as his brother was killed right beside him in combat.

I don't think they had much r&r, I think they probably smoked, drank when they could get it, wrote letters home, read and reread letters from home, slept if they could, and dreamed about going home.

todays military benifets from technology as they can recieve and send emails, talk to family on telephones, etc.

Being in the military must be hard, being in strange land and away from thier families.

that's very touching and crammed with poignant recommendations. I enormously cherished" permit me how you will fly back". that's something i think of such quite some ought to narrate to no count the place they're coming from. that's a good poem and that i enjoyed examining it very lots.
