Everybody use computer. 5 - 10 years from now......

I feel like it already is. I've started meeting kids who were never taught to write in cursive and their primary form of written communication is the text message!

It makes me feel old and I'm only 24! Of course, I'm as guilty as anyone -- I take my computer to my grad classes for notes, no more notebooks for me!

certainly seems like it... but i'm glad i already write in handwriting so i don't have to learn it if ever it becomes specialized. oh, and handwriting is cool, though i don't write as often as i used to... :D

People'll still use it. It's like mathematics. People still use basic math although long division is obsolete with the calculator.

If it does, it won't happen for a long, long, long, long time. Technology fails and when it does, pencil and paper fill in nicely.
