I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

You don't need exercise equipment and money to lose weight. Eat 5 small meals a day instead of 3 large meals. Cut out all sweets and junk food. Cut down on breads and pastas or give them up, which is better. Drink lots of water and stick to diet soda. Eat smaller portions and more fruits and vegetables and less meat. You only need 3-4 ounces of meat a day. That alone will save you money so buy more fresh veggies. Start walking or ride a bike. It doesn't cost money to walk. Start slowly and build up farther and faster each day. Try to walk every day or at least 5 days a week. The pounds will melt off and you will feel so good about yourself. Start tomorrow and when you feel like eating, go for that walk or have that snack(that's included in your 5 small meals a day). Your snacks can include fresh veggies, fresh fruit, sugar free jello (just a few examples).

So you want to ose weight and are broke... Join the club...forget the fancy diets and all the other crap they try to sell you.. First don't stop eating all of a sudden 2400 cal a day is enought for a normal active person who works out 3 times a week... Not you ? well drop doq to a min of 1600 cals a day over a couple of weeks. Why ? well some of us have latent genes link to a feast/ famine cycle. Y ou stop eating and your body says OH NO Famine time to store fat. Before I was disabled and after the doc's put me on a severe diet and I gained 50 pounds each time, Now heres the deal I eat what I want only in moderation and over 3-4 small meals/ snacks a day. I watch my fat intake and fried foods. I steam and or beak my meat and vegies. Because my knees are bad I go to the pool 3-4 times a week and work out in the water. You can do this or walk everyday
Don't expect the weight to disappear over night it took e 5 year to drop down to 350 from 460...... Funny side note Bananas are reat snack foods look it up on the net and see what they offfer.... Good luck

OK, no money.......no problem.
Buy 6 Lemons. Every morning drink a large glass of water with 1/2 lemon squeeze, no sugar on an empty stomach. Then eat 1 cup of oatmeal cooked with water and cut in 1/2 banana. Drink a glass of water.
At 10 am eat the other 1/2 banana and drink a glass of water.
At lunch eat 1 cup of vegetables, 1 slice of bread with butter and drink one glass of water. At 2pm eat 1/2 cucumber and 1/2 tomato and 1 glass of water. At 4pm you can have a coffee or tea. At 6 pm. Eat 1/2 cup of rice, 3 oz. Chicken and 1 1/2 cup of any veggies with butter. At 7 pm eat an Orange or Kiwi or Pear or any fruit you like
Use salt very sparingly, no sugar,no honey, maybe 1 teaspoon of real Maple Syrup on the oatmeal and you can drink 2 cups of green tea during the day. Alternate the fruits for breakfast and break, like apple, peach etc. You can have a whole peach twice a day.
The fruit cannot be canned. You can have 1/2 can of tuna instead of chicken. 2 tablespoons of butter a day no more.
No dairy, like milk, cheese. but you can have 2 eggs a day instead of chicken or fish. Before bedtime drink another glass of water. Go for a walk every day for 1/2 an hour, increase to an hour within 3 days.
If you can do this for a week, you will have lost
10 pounds or more.
Because you are eating something every few hours it will keep your blood sugar at an even level.
Buy a bag of raw almonds and if you get hungry you can have 8 Almonds twice a day.
This is very nutricious and healthy and it will get your juices flowing and you will be running to pee a lot at first but after a day or so your body will be hydrated and you will never retain any water. Once you've dropped 10-20 pounds, reward yourself with a slice or tow of pizza or an icecream or a piece of chocolate and vary your meat between beef, chicken, turkey and fish. No potatoes or pasta during the weeks you're dieting.
Good Luck, this is a cleansing diet and I have lost 7 pounds in a week and I am not that overweight at all. I just wanted to clean my body from toxins. You will greatly benefit from this, weight wise and health wise.

your best piece of ecercise equipment is your own body. here are some steps to success:
Eat less!
eat better foods and more fiber (fruits vegis ect)
exercise!
here are some exercise tips:
take up walking. it is great for your heart, and the scale.
use household items as weights if you can't afford them ( soup cans, water bottles, or milk containers work great!)
STAY MOTIVATED! remember, this is a lifestyle, not "diet." if you think that you will break down 2 weeks into the diet, then form a work out/ support group with your friends. meet every so often and talk about your success and failures. this will keep you motivated!
hope this helps!

Firstly, and this may sound stupid, but find out why you weigh 250 lbs. Do you eat too much? Before I decided to loose weight, I discovered that carbohydrates made me hungry. If I ate carbs, this would kick up my insulin, which in turn kicked up my appetite...therefore I ate too much. By reducing my carbs, I was able to control the amount of food I ate, lose weight and improve my health. Not eating is worse than eating too much, don't let anyone convince you of anything different. You must have fuel...you must. Learning to control your fuel by eating in controlled increments can help you to lose weight long before you realize that you need to exercise.
If you are not a carboholic, consider thyroid problems. Check with your doctor and have tests done for thyroid. Coconut oil helps to improve thyroid function and it kicks up the metabolism.
All in all what you need to learn is how to eat, not how NOT to eat.

you need to eat at least 5 to 6 small meals a day,I am talking about an apple with almonds or a whole wheat wrap with veggies and lean meats, don't allow yourself to get hungry. Eat every 2 to 3 hrs and don't eat after 7:30, 8:00 at the latest. Drink alot of water i am talking about 3litres a day, I know it sounds like alot but you can start off small. Go for walks, if 1hr at a time is too much go out for two 1/2 walks or four15 minute walks. etc.
You can do it faith, my dear faith!!!
