Well, I may not be an expert, but I've spent a lot of years learning about the Bible and the historical/cultural events of the times. I don't speak Greek or Latin, but I've got both hard copy and online resources that provide the information I need. I've got a couple of college degrees that involved doing a lot of research, and I'm pretty comfortable with using reference materials.

I don't know all there is to know about the Bible, and I cheerfully admit that. But I do have a pretty decent fund of knowledge and the ability to find information when I do need it.

No scripture was written in Latin... but it is useful in reading the history of the early church and the mistakes that they made... And no, it takes study to learn the scriptures, Biblical languages, and the society and culture of the times... If they dig hard enough, there are lots of documents available on-line which will help the student learn more about these things.

You say, "sorry dear but the bible we know nowadays is the translation to latin during the roman empire." One would obviously assume that you are refering to Jerome's Biblia Sacra Vulgata, but why? How is that "the Bible we know?" It is certainly NOT the Bible most Christians know.

Yes. Even as an atheist, I'm well aware of what the Bible says in most cases. I'm also aware that the Bible we know is a translation of a translation at best. Some parts of it may have been wrongly interpreted. Some parts were certainly changed from the original to fit Church doctrine. Most Christians have no idea about that little fact!
