sin causes a separation from God, by disobedience to his laws and ways it is deliberate.
Failure is missing a standard, but you repent, get up and try again. It is not deliberate

for the godly sin is the inability to keep the Laws of your God. When you fail to accomplish that mark you confess that sin and move on in fellowship with your God
to the ungodly sin is that which legally breaks the law or might be considered not meeting the letter of the law with nothing attached to sin.
It could be to some--breaking the code of morals you have set
and has nothing to do with legality
failure is not accomplishing a goal or desire . It could hinge on the effort I exerted to succeed. It could be I wasn't good enough to quality. failure is subjective.in that , it requires a negative thought process which itself could be a sin or immoral(not of moral standards)

'Sin' literally means 'error'. So in a way, sin and failure are the same thing.
Butneither sin nor failure has to be a permanent or final state. If at once you don't succeed...
Namaste.

Sin is anything that seperates you from the will of God. Failures are the people on yahoo who don't have a life.

Failing is not sin, we are all human, we all fail from time to time. That is how we learn and grow as human beings. Sin is anything that would displease God - IE lying , cheating, stealing, breaking the 10 commandments, etc... But failing, unless you have failed in one of these areas is not sin. If you have failed in one of these areas, then yes is it sin, but all you have to do is ask God for forgiveness and he forgives you - pretty simple stuff.

I don't believe in sin. It is a human made concept, and an unhealthy one at that.
