I was married Dec 31/06(in Canada) and we used pastel blue and lettuce green because I wanted icy colours. Since you are getting married in San Antonio(I just answered one of your other questions) I would go with more South Texas type colours Like Brown and pink(Terra cotta type colours) Or else completely the other way all glitz with a Royal blue or Purple. Stay away from Christmas colours that will come soon enough.

Oh no doubt,...............cranberry or deep red and hunter green and white of course for the bride. I would recommend white taffeta or white velvet gown. I saw bridesmaids in a Dec. wedding and they were using muffs instead of flowers. It looked georgeous. They were green with white fur. Maid of Honor had cranberry red dress and cranberry muff with white fur. Bride had ivory white gown with a train that had white fur all around the edge of the long train, and she had a georgeous bouquet of red and white roses with stephonitis and orchids, tied with a beautiful wide cranberry color ribbon into a bow. Flower girl had a white velvet gown with a red sash, and ring bearer had a white velvet suit with a red boutineer and a red pillow for the ring. They looked adorable and so in tune to the theme. She also gave a georgeous cranberry red christmas ornament as a favor. How unique that was...

sage type of green with deep rich purple looks nice together (I was going to do winter wedding with those colors but am now doing summer wedding)
blue and white is very wintery (like snowflakes)
wintergreen would look nice
a burgendy color is nice too
think of what color would look best on the girls and pick a deep rich lovely shade of it
gold is also pretty with deep red

Just keep it plain white or beige......simple and elegant.....don't use colors.....it is tacky....now if you have a grooms cake....you can do whatever is weird and masculine...nothing risque...i am sure there will be children there. Just keep it simple and elegant, and it will be beautiful.
I got married in Dec....and I had Green velvet dresses...very simple clean lines...no ruffles or frills, the church was filled with poinsettias, and I had pew bouquets of white Flowers. window were adorned with candles with those globes over them. My cake was a creamy white with a few white flowers (icing flowers) that were tipped in like some silver edible color. but now it is all what....and you can do so much with that fondant stuff.....I wish you all the best.

i could merely placed on a dismal-coloured gown... be sure you place on hoise or tights - and boots/heels. and then, for sure, placed on a heavy gown coat. i'm assuming that the acutal wedding ceremony is indoors, so which you would be wonderful in a gown... in case you opt for for to be arranged for any drafts get a pashmina ($20 at a chit save) or yet another scarf to wrap around your shoulders. have relaxing!

WINTER ?, DEEP RICH COLORS- well my favorite color is red and that great for the holidays -- or a lovely BLUE VELVET! FOR THE DRESSES!! -WHAT IS BETTER THAN BLUE VELVET! NEXT TO YOUR WHITE GOWN, ENCHANTING. cream colored poinsettias, its holiday time-- you can be festive, but i would go for classy, subdued creams and the deep blue velvet.

Use any colors you want. Do you want blue and silver or burgundy and green or would you rather some other combo?
