Does anyone use a Fluoride rinse for his or her teeth at night? My dentist told me to use a fluoride rinse at night but my mom says that only works for young children and preventing cavities but is pointless for adults? Anyone use this and recommend a brand?

Most Dentists have your best interest at heart. I personally do not believe in Fluoride. Diet is what counts. Floride is a deadly toxin and no matter what the experts say, you can get too much of it. Mouth wash is absorbed thru the mucus membrane. I am not saying your dentist is wrong, it is better to use natural means. Keeping the PH of your mouth alkaline, is more effective thank swishing fluoride. Anytime you do not have to use pills, or chemicals and use natrual products do so.
Good teeth since figuring out the PH of the body.

your dentist is right...it works for any age. Fluoride has a component in it that can remineralize teeth. that means it can help teeth become stronger AND if you are using this rinse every night it has the capability of reversing small cavities. however keep in mind it cant do miracles and heal bigger cavities. We even recommend fluoride for the elderly because they are very prone to cavities.

It is true that fluoride helps prevent cavities in young children but it also can help strengthen the enamel on your teeth

Works for everyone. Teeth absorb the fluoride, even for mom's teeth.
