properly, Catholics have consistently been taught that Judas replaced into susceptible and wished money and impact himself. those days, i think of a e book of Judas or something like that has been found which says what i've got thought for a on a similar time as and that's Judas replaced into chosen to betray Jesus and if Judas hadn't carried out this, Jesus won't have been crucified while and how it replaced into prophesied to happen. if so, there won't have been Christianity immediately in view that we've self belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God by way of fact he raised himself from the lifeless. possibly Jesus even asked Judas to do this.

The authorities were well aware of the location of Jesus. Jesus went to Jerusalem, so he was not in hiding. The fact that Judas betrayed Him is really not important, only to fulfil prophesy. Judas was not a poor pawn, he made a choice. The problem is when you are God you know what the choice will be.

You must realize that this was God's plan from the start, just as Jesus told Peter at the garden when he was arrested, The cup which my Father Giveth me, shall I not Drink It.
This was a prophecy being fulfilled, Jesus even spoke of Judas after he went to betray him, he said it would have been better if that man had not been born. he was going to shed innocent blood, but after that he hung hinself.
this was all part of the plan.

I did learn something from that though i learned that when Judas after he left the last supper and then betrayed Jesus in the garden when he left went back to the Pharases to repent he said i have betrayed innocent blood and threw the 30 pieces of silver back at them they more or less laughed at him so he went out and hung himself .I learned you cannot repent before man only God and Jesus.

Yes. If you read carefully you can see that Jesus new Judas was going to betray him and even sent him off from the last supper to do it.

No. Judas didn’t betray anyone, and Jesus didn’t die for anyone’s sins. All that stuff was invented by certain Jewish/Roman religious fanatics who didn’t understand what Jesus and his wife and Judas were actually teaching.

Thats one of my main issues with Christianity. They make him out to be this bad guy, but God knew it was gonna happen, Jesus knew it was gonna happen, and it was SUPPOSED to happen. He was just this... pawn... in this big... plan
