Bbq pork. Put in a pork loin and about half a bottle of your favorite bbq sauce, cook for about 8 hrs. on low. Shred/pull the meat with 2 forks. If it seems too dry, put in more bbq sauce, or add wine vinegar and hot pepper sauce.

Also, pinto beans. Toss in a small bag, a chopped onion and 3-4 strips of chopped bacon (or side meat or fat back, if you live in the South), and add water to half full. Cook for 8 hours on low. For the complete Southern thing, serve with greens, cornbread, and chow-chow. Picalilli is about the same as chow-chow, if you are in the Northeast.

MMMMMMMMMMMM a roast...'

get a roast, put a little bit of water in the slow cooker, put the roast in, add salt, and cook it for about 4 hrs, or until cooked mostly all the way through... add vegis of your choice, i.e. carrots, celery, potatos, corn, green beans, onions, etc, beef bullion, maybe a little bit of beef gravy- not the whole pack. season with salt, pepper, whatever, to taste.

cook untill all vegis are done and meat is fully cooked.
