I haven't personally. But, according to some link on here the other day, every musician that doesn't sing christian music sold their soul to the devil for their fame. It was an interesting video to watch.
And, yes, satan is basically the antithesis of god. He also does not exist.

When you say WE you apply that we all blame something or someone for our own acts. WE are all responsible for our own actions; however, through Christianity we learn that there is an antagonist to the perfect but fallen creation. WE must take responsiblity for our actions. Yet, we also learn, as in the book of Job, that we can be tested whether or not we do bad or good actions. What really counts is what is in your heart and your motives. Those, too, you have a responsibility for.

Yes. Lucifer (which actually means "light bearer";) is just a scapegoat used by Christians. When they get drunk, and beat their wives and children to a pulp for no good reason, they go to church the next day and ask God to forgive them, saying "the devil whispered the song of sin in my ear and forced my hand".
The devil makes people do about as many bad things as Blues Clues does.
Christians, stop blaming Satan for all of YOUR actions and YOUR imperfections! Take responsibility for a change! I think your god would like that more than blaming Satan for your actions.

You can't speak to or see a creature that doesn't exist.
Still, many believe in the idea of posession, demons and such. If we believe in a God, it might make sense that demons would have a leader as well.
Too, in the Christian faith, with a god who is all good, a counterpoint was necessary to account for acts of evil. A nemesis was necessary, and the Devil was created.
Other religions recognize the need for balance. Many are able to do so without having a creature that represents "evil".

the devil (s) are very real. But people like to say "the devil made me do it" this is not true.
The devil temps us with evil, we decide to give into his temptations. Think of anyone who you know of that temps people with evil and you got a devil. Hugh Heffner is a devil. Anyone else who puts smutt out for you to see, is a devil.
See a bill board showing you a can of beer next to a beautiful women looking sexie, the devil at work, wants you to think if you drink their beer you will score with hot women.

No that isn't a fact at all, people are responsible for their own actions, I am real big on personal responsibility. The devil/satan/lucifer has no power over anyone unless they allow it. No I haven't actually seen or spoken to him, don't wanna.

I believe so - or at least the concept of Satan was blow hugely out of proportion compared to his role in the Old Testament.
Satan is a convinent scapegoat. Everything bad in the world has to be Satan's fault. All of our bad choices were because of his temptation.
How many Christians have repented of their sins while at the same time thinking that it wasn't completely there fault? That they were mislead by Satan.

No, but I believe that he exists. I'm a bible believing Christian, and have both seen and heard satan's influence in my life, and the lives of others. I'm sorry, I don't mean to contradict you or patronize you, but after many, many years of being a Christian and studying the bible, yes, I do believe that entity exists. And so do an awful lot of his demons.
