Is it proper to say "Shame on the United States of America"?

Forty-six percent of Americans polled say the United States cannot win, compared with the 37 percent that think the U.S. can win. An all-time low of 29 percent say things are going well in Iraq. (Interactive: Poll results)

The poll also suggests that 54 percent of Americans say the Bush administration was deliberately misleading about whether Iraq had weapons of mass destruction before the U.S.-led invasion. The troops have died for nothing. This is Vietnam all over again. Shame on the United States of America! Shame on the people who voted for the war.

properly, there are people who insist that this could be a "Christian united states of america," despite meaning, and that Christianity is someway a piece of writing of Patriotism. so a procedures as some are worried, while you're no longer Christian, you're no longer a real American. yet there are a number of faiths interior the international, previous Christianity. via strengthen of recent religious strikes, imigration of individuals and their concepts from Asia and the middle East, and a feeling of disillusionment with greater classic religions, you may no longer anticipate that all people we meet is Christian. Our society is turning out to be increasingly greater plauralistic. Our way of existence is changing. you may the two combat the replace, scream "this could be a Chrrrristian united states of america!" on the acceptable of your lungs, and declare a manner of existence war, or you may settle for the replace and be respectful in direction of human beings of distinctive religious ideals. The latter mindset is, in my view, plenty greater civilized. Non-Christians are unlikely away. Your associates, workers, acquaintances, and faculty instructors may well be Atheists, Pagans, Wiccans, Agnostics, Buddhists, Scientologists, Jews, or perhaps (sarcastic gasp!) Muslims! Get used to it. We deserve the comparable rights and freedoms as Christians savor.

what are you Iraqy, our satalight picked up 8 mobile launchers some years back, 5 launchers were captured 4 were emptied 1 was stripped. If the other 3 are loaded and fired we will die. IS this what you want. 2 years ago 5,000 kurds died from poison gas and you say shame=NO shame on you for even thinking such a thing

It's appropriate, in the collective, when the population as a whole has allowed this country's government to get away with breaking the law and doing other objectionable things.

We the people are the final check and balance on government action, through our power to vote. When only 45% of the eligible population even bother to have any input.... shame on us.
