The French Quarter is full of fun and historic places (stay in the highly populated areas, things are kinda not safe there after Katrina). Have you ever seen a New Orleans cemetery? Everyone is buried above ground (N.O. is below sea level, so you can't put them under). Maybe a ride along the lakefront (Lake Pontchartrain). Make sure you go to a good restaurant. The food is awesome and something you may not have ever tasted before. Hope you have fun.

I went on vacation there a few years ago. A few place to check out are the Aquarium of the Americas, Jackson's Brewery, St. Louis Cathedral, and defiantly the French Quarter. Watch out for Bourbon street if you are not into nudity. Another scenic route is to take the trolley down St. Charles Ave to see the historic homes ( aka Mansions). Hope you and your friends enjoy your vacation!

visit Frenchmen highway at night time! consume at dat canines! hear to all the magnificent music in those Frenchmen highway venues. walk down bourbon just to declare which you probably did (whooop whoop) yet its often relatively gross at night. walk during the french quarter during the day time (this is reallllly exceedingly) Take a walk alongside the river, in case you choose to shop, inspect the newly renovated merchants on the riverwalk mall. do no longer visit the on line casino.
