What a question because I was dying and 30 years young but unhealthy. I was on my death bed for 7 weeks. I had doctors and xrays and it just got worse. I was in a living hell without getting more than 20 minutes sleep without extreme pain.

I had a wife and 3 kids and I was bleeding out and dehydrating. I gave up living even though I had Religion.

One day I accepted death and the Priest came to my home, blessed me and I made my peace with my God. I accepted everything God let happen to me and asked him to help my family that was now in deep financial trouble. I felt a closure to life' struggle and a warm embrace from my God and my wife and kids.

I somehow got to the hospital because I now could not walk more than a few feet. The doctor said it didn't look like I would last long and should die soon from dehydration. He gave me some fiber to try to hold the water in my body. He said that he wanted me in the hospital today but I didn't want to let go of my family and I said give me two days. He agreed.

I went home prayed and accepted my fate. The next day I felt better. Two days later I walked into his office wobbling but 20 lbs heavier. The doctor was amazed and called everyone else in to see me. He couldn't believe his eyes!

From that day forward I had a vision of myself releasing my spirit to Jesus and believed that God works through other people.

Today I am absolutely healed and talk about my faith and belief in God's people. My life has been devoted to my works and my God.

So my advice to you is to let go and let God and he will show you a little bit of heaven on Earth. Blessings for your great question. HW

When I was on an operating table, blood poured from my nose, mouth and ears. I was under anaesthetic at the time, so don't remember it, obviously. However, when I came around and was told what had happened, I was calm as though I had been aware of it. When I was out though, I had I suppose what you would call a dream where I was up really high, looking over the edge of something and I felt calm. I felt as though I was waiting for something and it didn't matter that I was up so high, even though I have a massive fear of heights. I believe that God was with me, and I am a selfish person who calls on God when I need him (as much as I hate to admit this). Ever since then I have felt a huge presence as though God is there, comforting me and helping me through everything. Hope this makes sense to you. x

I once thought I was dying - from suffocation - and as I lay there blacking out, I felt quite calm and just thought,
"so this is what dying is like then? Isn't your life supposed to flash before your eyes?" I then tried remembering some stuff that had happened to me, but I have a crappy memory and could only recall a couple of fairly mundane things as I lost consciousness.

No lights, no God, no Devil, no bogeyman. Although, to be fair, I wasn't dying, I was just blacking out.

then I was resucitated and continued with my life in the same blase, atheist manner as before. I should probably have been more concerned about my impending death at the time - but there you are - no point in worrying about these things, eh?

Yep, I have had a so-called 'near-death experience', but when I looked at it rationally, and took everything else into account, I believe it was just the old brain cells doing a bit of overtime. It's truly a wonderful organ, the brain! It allows you to focus on one thing, and ignore or disregard all else, no matter how compelling the evidence, or lack of evidence, is.
It allows you to see things that are nor there (like hallucinations, etc) and people would rather believe in the 'bright light' than pink elephants!

I cant vouch for those who had experienced NDE's there are alot of them happening in the hospitals, am a part of the medical staff there when there are vehicular accidents, miracles of people living in car collision where seeing the car would definitely make u think people riding them are definetely dead, but are very much alive today , my bestfriend is one who had a vehicular accident last March 2, and by Gods grace are now on the recovery process, makes u think definetley that sometimes proof is not needed, but when u dare God, he'll defintitely grant it:) there is a God who lets this Miracles of life happen. God Bless!

You should look up Helen Duncan on the Internet. Elizabeth Taylor had a nde she would never be afraid to die. Doctor Elizabeth Kubler Ross was the top Psychiatrist in America spent her life on spiritual matters. There are so many people who are totally convinced there is life after death.

The magazine New Scientist did a report on these experiences - they did show similar characteristics (sensation of a tunnel with a light at the end) amongst a number of people in the sample. reason? - possibly due to oxygen starvation in the visual cortex

If you seek Him without faith, then you will surely never find Him. That is why He does not just show Himself to us, or tell us what to do. You must give yourself up to Him, and believe in what you cannot see before you will be rewarded. God bless.

Heaven & hell mean different places to different people. Your heaven might be somebody else's hell & your hell his heaven. I think God exists in the believer's heart.

there is no such thing as what you are thinking.

Heaven is goodness and happiness- on earth, hell is negativity and pain and suffering on earth. After daeth you die, the only thing which lives on is what people remember of you. and carry through of you into their lives.
