Soldiers used up as cannon-fodder are not a big deal. One of Hitler's big mistakes was driving out the Jewish intellectuals who might have helped build a stronger Germany. America became stronger by giving a welcoming home to people like Albert Einstein.
If Hitler had kept his Jewish scientists and given them support it is very likely that the Third Reich would have become nuclear-armed and you might be speaking German today.

Above posts made good points.
On the flip side, one of the things Hitler did was take guns away from the Jews and other groups he did not like. (Gun Act of 1938). Imagine if they had had guns and been willing to use them.
6 MILLION Jews + 5 MILLION other people = 11 MILLION. Now assume ONE PERCENT had guns and were willing to use them . That would have been 110,000 people with guns fighting against Hitler. Now read up on the Warsaw uprising and how many German soldiers were tied up fighting just a small group with guns.
That should be a warning to the future. As soon as the government tries to deny guns to the population, it is up to something evil.

He didnt kill all of them, just the elderly, children, infirm, mentally ill and challenged. He used the stronger people to his advantage by having them build, work in his artillery factories, making uniforms, ect.....
You are right that 6 million is not a small army but 6 million people that would be deserters and run at the first chance they got wouldnt make such a good army.

First, many of the Jews that Hitler murdered were elderly, women, or children. So, no. Second, putting guns into the hands of people who you're trying to annihilate isn't a good idea. Finally, trying to apply rules of logic to a madman isn't a good strategy for success.

I think he saw them as not worthy to be soldiers. Like previously stated he was a madman. I believe it is a fact that he was delusional and extremely paranoid. He demanded loyalty and with his oppressive views I do not think he would allow Jews or non loyalist to be armed with weapons.
