Any prescription medicine needs to in the original pharmacy container with the name on the outside matching the passenger who's carrying it. You may not take any soda through security, but you may purchase soda once you clear. They realize that all the soda sold by vendors at the airport have gone through screening already.

You're not suppose to bring fluids onto a plane. Be they bottled, mugged, or in a bag :) You might be able to get it on the plane if you ask the guys at security, but I doubt you'll meet with any success. They're pretty strict on the beverage rules. Most flights will serve you beverages in flight anyway, and give you as much as you desire.

Medications are fine if they're over the counter (Tylenol, Tums, Pseudophedrine), or prescription medication that has been prescribed to you. If it's not prescribed to you or a passenger riding with you, you cannot bring it on the plane. You may carry prescription medication for the elderly (Though they may question it), or for dependants (Children, or students if you're a teacher, for example).

All drinks and creams should be in a maximum of one hundred ml bottles - those to be carried in a see-by, resealable plastic bag about the dimensions of a huge sandwich bag. once you should take a infant's bottle waiting made up, you'd be requested to drink some at Customs. in case you want medicine on the flight - that's a sturdy idea to take a replica of your prescription with you or you'll locate pills being confiscated. Have all medicine waiting for the Customs Officer to study. you should purchase your candies in the shops in the Departure living room - you may take them on the plane, the priority is what you may take by Customs no longer on the plane. you may also take bottles of drinks that you've offered after Customs.

You can bring your medication with you but make sure all of it has your name on it or you have something written by your physician to say that it is for you. Soda's are not allowed to be carried on, but the airlines will furnish you them after you have boarded and have taken off successfully. Hope you have a great trip.

As far as your medication you are allowed to bring those items in your carry on luggage, as long as they are in the original packaging and the name on the prescription matches the name on your boarding pass. For the mug of soda you are not allowed to bring drinks through security, although you are allowed to purchase drinks after the security checkpoint and you may bring that on the aircraft with you.

Go to their web site; they will have a complete list of what you can and can't take.

I'm pretty sure you can't take any liquids (yes, they want all their customers to die of dehydration -- what do they care? They've got your money).

But go to the source, don't trust what we who don't know say.

You have to declare any medication that you take with you. You generally can take it, as long as it's legal and signed in.
