it is essentially impossible to truely lose 5 pounds in a week without starvation, even if the scale says you lost that amount likely most of the weight you would lose would purely be water loss meaning you'd gain it right back, optimally you should do 1hr-90min of cardio 3/4 times a week, any more than that will be too hard on your body if you are not used to heavy exercise

There is no correct answer to that questions considering the fact that each persons metabolic rate differs. The safest way to lose weight is through proper diet and exercise, however most physicians will tell you that a safe weight loss rate is no more than two- three pounds per week.

Dont even try. You need a knife to get rid of that amount unless you are suffering from extreme water retention problems. Go get some advice about diet and exercise from a specialist who can physically see you. It is not possible to evaluate your question from what you have said. As far as anyone knows you might be as skinny as a rake with no opportunity to lose any weight without doing yourself damage.
