a backflip is safe enough if attempted seriously and easy to do if you know what you're doing. most people are physically capable of doing a backflip but then again most people are not mentally capable of doing one. don't try doing a backflip just cause you saw a tutorial. unless you do like martial arts or gymnastics. you can attempt a backflip on your own but i strongly advise you to get a spotter. plus having a spotter will be much easier learning it. biggest thing, dont fool around with the backtuck and dont break your neck

Then don't write stupid questions. Of course there could be injuries if you do it wrong, especially if you try this by yourself. Get some help

I recommend practicing in the safety of a well-padded area. Many people are self-taught - assuming they can pull it off at all Yes, you can get badly injured; it isn't common especially in the right setting and with expert supervision, but accidents are always possible.

Being a cheerleader...and seeing many failed backhandsprings...your chances of breaking ur neck are slim...but you can definitely injure yourself severly!! If you want to attempt it...do it on a mat or trampoline with a spot.

Good Luck!
