I applied for a chase credit card about a week ago, and they said that I hadn't been denied, but I haven't been approved either online. If I still haven't heard from them yet is that a good sign, or a bad sign? I've had bad credit in the past and I just got everything cleared up on my credit report and i'm anxious to get my credit back up, so i'm hoping to get a new credit card with a low fixed amount. Thanks!

In some cases Chase takes up to (30) days to decide. Even if you phone in your application on the (so-called) instant approval. Chase is not an easy card to get, if you don't get it I would try Juniper cards, they are excellent and report to all 3 Credit Reporting Agencies. Chase like to pull experian (in my state) so apply somewhere that doesen't pull the same CRA as Chase

The top three Chase credit cards issued by Chase Manhattan Bank are Chase Platinum credit card, Chase Travel Platinum Visa and Chase Flexible Rewards Platinum Visa.

Chase Platinum credit card

This card’s introductory APR is 0%, which is available for twelve months, which is applied to all purchases as well as balance transfers. However, the fine print states that after a review of customer’s credit history, 0% APR on balance transfer can be reduced to a period of three months. The regular APR will be 13.99%.

Chase Platinum is also a rewards earning card, so card holders earn one point for every dollar spent. Rewards can be for travel, gift certificates or purchases. Other benefits include $500,000 automatic travel accident insurance which is applicable even if your accident happens in another country.

Chase Travel Platinum Visa

You get twelve months introductory 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers. The regular APR after this introductory period is 13.99%. There is also an annual fee of Twenty-nine dollars to use this card.

The Chase Travel Platinum is a great choice for frequent flyers.
