I received this in an email:

"Yo no he descartado que tu seas mi novia."

I'm not quite positive of the exact translation. Is it to do with the idea of not giving up on me being his girlfriend??

I haven´t disregard the fact of you being my girlfriend.

Yes the main idea is that this person is telling you that he still thinks about you as a possible gf.
