I`ve known this guy for a while and he finally gave me his number last week,we have been texting and calling each other since friday and he asked if i`d like to go for a drink when he finishes work on saturday night,i said yes.He said he really likes me and he phoned tonight and asked if he could pop up and see me tomorrow night as it`s his night off,i said yes as i do like him,am i right in guessing he feels the same?

Your off to a good start but I dont see how a relationship can blossom right off the bat from getting to know each other through text messages and the phone. Hang out some more, go out on real dates and all that jazz, then come back to us and let us tell you what we think he is feeling. He probaly is just as interested in you as you are in him, but beware of what his interests truly are?!?!?

Pop up? What does that mean? His place? Mutual ground?
What work does he do?
Sounds fine as long as you meet on neutral territory the first time or two. I don't know what kind of texting you guys were doing, but that could give a guy/girl ideas.

meet him for a drink, loosen up a bit and take it from there. he gave you a number to call for a reason, he's interested. so he inititated, you respond and be semi-aggressive/assertive, men like that. touch his arm or hand but not to often, just enough to 'let him know' you're interested too. or if you really want to blow him away, tell him right after you take your first drink, lol, tell him you're interested in him. that's all you need to do.

Based on that, yeah, I'd say you're absolutely right in guessing that he likes you back. There's almost no doubt about it. After all, he did come right out and say so.
