The Greek word "pharmakeia," which is defined as "witchcraft, magic, the use of spells and potions of magic, often involving drugs" is included among the "works of the sinful nature" which Paul lists in Galatians 5:19ff. Clearly, the word INCLUDES activities which used mind-altering substances.
It is also appropriate to consider its opposite in answering your question. Consider the word translated "sober" or "self controlled." This is spoken of as a virtue to be encouraged... Titus 2:6 "In the same way, help the young men to control themselves." 1Peter 4:7 "The end of all things is near. So keep a clear mind. Control yourselves. Then you can pray."
Sounds like your weed story doesn't fly in light of scripture...

If any translation actual says "marijuana" I even have not got here across it. "And the earth introduced forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his type, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed replaced into in itself, after his type: and God observed that it replaced into sturdy." Genesis a million:12. yet in the previous you illuminate, see additionally the passages on drunkenness, e.g. Proverbs 23 and 31, and a million Timothy 3:8. The Bible is fairly clean that intoxication is undesirable. You *ought to* argue that by way of fact the Bible facilitates small quantities of wine, small quantities of marijuana must be permissible, too - offering no longer something rises to the point of intoxication. in spite of if, the Bible would not *motivate* any quantity of eating - it merely says that some small quantity isn't forbidden. massive distinction. do no longer forget that that that's to lead us on such judgements: "What? be attentive to ye no longer that your physique is the temple of the Holy Ghost that's in you, which ye have of God, and ye are no longer your individual? For ye are bought with a value: subsequently glorify God on your physique, and on your spirit, that are God's" (a million Corinthians 6:19-20).

From the lost gospels..
And Jesus said “He who smoketh the weed shall enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Jesus didn’t mind breaking laws to liberate religious slaves. So I don’t think he would have been against it.

your such a retard, didnt God say dont do anything pleasurable that kills your body, because after you take alot of drugs and then you die, and thats suicide which in the 10 commandments is a SIN, so stop asking stupid questions, because if you really were a true christian then you would know this kind of stuff. you cant just claim yourself to be christian and go out and be smoking weed.

I don't think that the bible states either way, but you can go with the "It grows in the ground, so it's god's creation" argument. If you care to put up a fight. I've found it's mainly a waste of time to argue with the religious crazies here, but it's your call.

I don't think so, although I think he drank wine for some of the same reasons you use weed. I know hashish was available, and he may have eaten it, but I think wine was the preferred method.

I dont think so, why would God intoxicate himself with marijuana. He is an example and wouldn't do anything like that , if he didn't want us to do that.
