dont be subtle. dont play games. tell him directly.
every other girl out there plays games and makes a guy chase her. no guy likes that. they like people who are genuine and arent trying to force anything.
as for flirting, be yourself... dont giggle too much, dont touch him too much, dont talk too loudly. no one likes that. laugh at his jokes if they are funny, touch his arm if the mood calls for it. dont talk too much about yourself and just be aware of what you are doing and saying.

calm down you should not be begging anyone but eye contact will help alot in flirting and just trying to be with him as much as possible
