Can anyone explain this? Is Jesus Christ God incarnate, meaning God decided to enter into human history as a human being...

Or is Christ a separate person from God?

Here is the official teaching of the Catholic Church on the Incarnation. It answers all your questions about this topic.

461
Taking up St. John's expression, "The Word became flesh,"82 the Church calls "Incarnation" the fact that the Son of God assumed a human nature in order to accomplish our salvation in it. In a hymn cited by St. Paul, the Church sings the mystery of the Incarnation:

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.83

462
The Letter to the Hebrews refers to the same mystery:

Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, "Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure. Then I said, 'Lo, I have come to do your will, O God.'"84
Peace and every blessing!

463
Belief in the true Incarnation of the Son of God is the distinctive sign of Christian faith: "By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God."85 Such is the joyous conviction of the Church from her beginning whenever she sings "the mystery of our religion": "He was manifested in the flesh."86

III. True God and True Man

464
The unique and altogether singular event of the Incarnation of the Son of God does not mean that Jesus Christ is part God and part man, nor does it imply that he is the result of a confused mixture of the divine and the human. He became truly man while remaining truly God. Jesus Christ is true God and true man. During the first centuries, the Church had to defend and clarify this truth of faith against the heresies that falsified it.

If you're asking the truth, the righteous... then no one know exactly, no one could proof it at least...

Some how people are only answer by their believes....

You'll need faith to believe it...

Now, based on faith...

If you read the Holy-Bible, Christ was never actually state Himself as God or incarnate of God, however if He is, it would be a sin to boast Himself that He is God, right? and God would never do sin since God is Holy...
But His deciple (the twelft diciples) was the one stating that He is God...
Remember that Jesus thought us to pray to The Lord, not to Him...

My friend once giving me a ilustration of why God decent to Earth as a human...

If you see ants that crawl from one place to another, they're not crawl in a straigth line, they always crawls zig-zag... and we know that it's un-eficience, wasting time and energy...
If we are the ilustration of God and the ants are human, and just pretend that we love the ants so much that we want them to do better... so we want to teach them to crawl in a straight line... how should we do that? we cannot speak to them, we cannot lift them with our hand and put it on their destination since it will only help a few, but will probably kill most or atleast frighthen them and make them stop their effort...

So the best way is for us to become n ants and crawl among them, and tell give example, lead them our self....
and i believe that's what Jesus does for us...

Hope this help
Bless You

No. The Bible does not say God came to earth in human form. Instead, it says that God SENT his Son to earth. That's what John 3:17 says. At John 17:3, Jesus Christ called his Father the only true God and said HE sent Jesus to to earth. So who came to earth? Was it God? Or did he send his Son?

I was always taught at sunday school - that god jesus and the holy spirit can be explianed with the analogy of an orange.
An orange has flesh, pith and skin - three distinct parts but, you dont have a complete orange unless you have all three.

Hope this doesnt confuse things!

They are the same because they are both the father, but different because Jesus is God's son. Incarnation is a myth. It says in the bible that either a person will spend eternity in heaven or hell. Once your chance of life is gone, it's gone forever. Bless you!

no person has ever defined to me the version between those 2 doctrines. in accordance to close to dying reviews i've got study, God sits on the throne all day at the same time as Jesus walks around Heaven chatting with human beings. So I think of that Jesus is the Son Of God.

God is triune and created man in his image, also triune.

Jesus is 100% God
The Father is 100% God
The Holy Spirit is 100% God.

My Soul(mind, will, emotions) is 100% bonsai bobby
My Body(flesh, blood, bones) is 100% bonsai bobby
My Spirit(heart, the real me) is 100% bonsai bobby

3=1 sounds like fuzzy math, but it is true.

think of God as 1x1x1 rather than 1+1+1

Jesus on earth was 100% God and 100% man.

one God--manifest in three persons

When God descends to this material world, He does it in His transcendental spiritual form, He does not get material body like us. Nothing, no material weapon can hurt of damage His body. The material energy is under His control. God can look like a human, but He is not subjected to birth, old age, disease nor death. God is in the category of Supreme being, we are just living beings, subjected to material energy. Jesus was special soul, not like us, but not like God either, in the sense that he was not entangled in mundane affairs like we are. Jesus was liberated soul since the very beginning and we are bondage souls since the very beginning.
