Simple answer no
Dogs can take aspirin 5 mg per lb, every 12 hrs for pain relief, or as an anti-inflammatory.

I give my dogs orange flavored 81 mg asprin, if they are in pain. They like the flavor, so I don't have to force them to take it.

I think that you should ask the vet before you give your dog aspirin because dogs take different amount of pills as humans do.

Usually they are not, but it could be possible.
Never give Tylenol nor Ibuprofen to your dog, just plain aspirin, but not before you check with your vet first.

My vet suggested i give my lab 2 aspirin when he twisted his foot running after my other lab, he told me dont give him more than a couple a day / just for a couple of days, and he was as good as new.I would only give it for minor pain though, anything serious go to your vet.

Most dogs can safely use aspirin, not tylenol or anything like that, but it HAS to be buffered aspirin!!!!!!!!!!

My Mom gave our old hunting dog tylenol for arthiritis and his kidneys shut down. He almost died. So I don't know how safe aspirin would be as well.
