Did you mean, will "they" find you? If, as you say it's a minor offense and the theft is "under" (below), felony statutes, then the chances of them coming after you are small unless, you happen to get into trouble in N.Y.C.. Under the "Interstate Compact Laws" and "Extradition Treaties Act" because you have already been indicted, you or your Attorney need to contact the D.A,'s Office in Jersey, and see if you can't work out a deal where you would maybe plead "Guilty" to the charge and receive a Probated Sentence, (Probation), and be able to do your Probation there in Jersey. Hope this helps.
GOD BLESS/GOOD LUCK!!

maximum of the time the city basically needs thier money call the city you've the warrant from in the course of buisness hours and ask them and tell them you've the money they are going to lift the warrant as quickly because that's paid. attempt this speedy because your city will recieve money out of your bill in the journey that they %. you up (which elements them reason to need to discover you) and they received't wait. i'd be beforehand you don't need to be in reformatory by yuletide
