MY friend says she is ready for a new one. she hates going home to a empty house. please if you know of a sheltie that needs a great home to call thier own let me know. were looking in the sacramento,yuba.marysville area.

Well look at the humane society, Take her there maybe she'll want a different dog, not a sheltie. This might sound mean but I think that if you get a dog (or any animal) thats look the same or is the same bread, it's like you are replacing the one that died. Try a new breed.

Try shetland sheepdog rescue on line. Every breed has this kind of website where dogs of that breed, who need good homes are advertised. They are available geographically, Michigan rescue, Alabama etc. for where you live.
