well I got a check up on the last city I use to live at. I'm 18 but I don't drive yet and worse is that I have a hospital bill that is $109. my dad doesnt know about it because its too personal and I'm trying to find a way to send the money, plus my mom is dead so it doesnt help at all. Is it ok to just send the money by mail with a letter with it, or do I really got to send it in like western union or what? because I think western union is also taking lots of my money to also pay up to send it to the destination. Plz help me

the hospital actually doesn't have a bill collector, so its like this hospital is more like a health department. So like they dont send any bill by mail personally

Mailing ir should be no problem. I am a bill collector and we take money in the mail all the time. You could also pay with your credit card or debit card or possibly by a check over the phone. Dont worry about your dad finding out because it would be against the law for the collection agency to discuss it with him. Just call the company and tell them when youll be mailing it!

Never send cash. If you don't have a checking account, you can buy a money order at any post office, or at many grocery or convenience stores. If you send a money order, be sure to keep a copy. Put a copy of the bill, or the stub from the bill, in the envelope so they know where it came from. There will be a charge to buy a money order, but not more than a couple dollars, a lot less than Western Union would charge.
Good luck.

You have a problem that you are at least willing to solve, which speaks highly of your integrity. DO NOT SEND MONEY BY MAIL!
If possible purchase a bank check so that you have a way of tracing it later if the hospital claims that they didn't receive your payment. If you can't afford to pay it all at one time, send $20 month and make sure you're getting credited and that the balance is being lowered.

Don't panic, call the collector and ask if you can make payments. I had a huge bill and thought my only recourse was to ignore it. But the hospital turned it over to collections so I called and told them I could not pay it in full. They told me I could make monthly payments until paid for but also had to pay the collector's fee. No big deal and wish I knew it sooner. If you are worried just make a call to the collector and find out your options. It does not hurt at all, and they want to know you are at least concerned about it. Good Luck!

The best way to send money safe and securely is by the us post office. All u have to do is go to your local post office and tell them you would like a money order. they will charge you at most an additional $5. Never send cash!!!!

You are going thru a difficult time right now, please don't get mad @ your Dad & have disrespectful feelings. When you mature, Sweetie, you will understand. May I suggest that you, please, confide in your Dad about whats going on, be apologetic that you kept it from him. You should work on a close relationship with your Father. Ask your Dad how you should send the money. Best Wishes to you! {hug!}

Use a money order. If you but it at the post office or a discount grocery store it is usually pretty inexpensive.
