Far from being the servant of Satan, he is in fact the servant of reason. He intrepidly enters into the much revered and sacrosanct halls of irrationality that encompass most of the religious world, and he sheds the light of reason. His vocal promotion of reason in all spheres of public life, makes him a great asset to the human race, for he, along with the likes of Sam Harris are working ever so diligently to expunge the nasty blight of religious dogma from the public landscape. It is the monopolization of religious doctrine over areas of politics and culture that have lead to the wars and conflicts that we see transpiring throughout the world. We can never talk rationally about something when the very thing that divides the human race into groups like Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus and so on are founded on irrational notions. We should be indebted to Richard Dawkins for his service to humanity.

Everything he says he backs up with evidence can christians do the same. Most christians don`t even know Jesus had a child and brothers and sisters so they believe in bits of the bible that suits there selfish needs. i think he is spot on tho as a man of science he should not deny god he should say he is not sure. satan is a made up load of drivel used as an excuse to strike fear into people and in the past burn women alive. I suggest you use your ability to read and research the truth on how the church has altered the bible mixing stories and making women second class. The odds they have found the tomb of Jesus proves he existed tho just not as you know it. At least Richard Dawkins isn`t going to kill anyone as many religious nuts seem to preach hatred and murder.

The Bible says that anyone who rejects God and his Son Jesus Christ, are in actualality a slave of Sin, and hence therefore a 'servant of the devil'
Its just some servants are more vocal and do more work than other servants, Yes the Devil is getting Good Value out of his servant Mr Dawkins, Although i respect his enthusiasm, and love the guy, not his views, but he does try real hard.
Satan also used to get good value out of me, until i realized that his wages bring death... So i Fled to the Cross
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

Well, he's not a servant of the "devil." But in the technical meaning of the word "Satan" (it means Adversary) I suppose you could say he is an adversary of Theists. ;-)
But I think what he is doing is a good thing. Even though I am a theist, I believe that we need people like Richard Dawkins to champion logic and reason. I've read some articles by him, and I actually liked what I read, even as a theist.

No, more like Michael Moore of religion. I watched the Root of All Evil? and wondered why he spent so much time interviewing assclowns instead of theologians, scientists, or philosophers. I did some research and discovered he did interview Alister McGrath who teaches theology at Oxford but also has a Ph.D in biochemistry from there. It so happens that all two hours of that interview were edited out.

He isn't a servant of Satan because he doesn't believe in Satan. Instead he is a dupe or pawn of Satan who thinks that he is operating all on his own. He really needs our prayers because otherwise he will be in for a terrible shock when he leaves this earth.
Revelation 20:10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

....... Well any scientist who declares God a delusion and religion the Root of All Evil is a poor measure of a scientist. I thought scientists were supposed to be absolutely neutral on all things unless they could be proven in the lab? And religion is more of a philosophical and historical matter than a scientific one.

No...he is a free agent. A concept very foreign to religious people.
Do religious people think everyone who is articulate, well read, logical and intellegent are "evil"? WOW! The world must be a very scarey place for all of you then. Using logic and reason is not sinful in any sense of the word!!!
