There really isnt any minimum amount of exercise. Most say to do 30 minutes a day. This article says 125 (to 200) minutes a week of moderate exercise is enough for great benefits (thats roughly 18 minutes for 7 days)

most i've read say a person should do about 20 minutes of cardio a day, bare minimum.
