There are many different sects of christianity and it is difficult because for the most part they never explain truely why they believe. True Christianity is a walk of life and an example of how to live, but there are may so-called Christains that talk and forget they need to walk as an example to others of how to live a good life. If you study the roots of true Christianity it makes a lot of sense and it is just as relavent today as it was several thousand years ago.
Greek and Hinduism are polytheistic and believe in many gods. They teach a complex mulifacited perspective that the gods they worship are imperfect. The universe is unplanned and chaotic and the gods are constanly fighting amongst themselves.
Buddhism you have to live many lives if you don't get the first one right and then you disapate into nothingness or Nirvanna.
Islam has several different sects that follow along the same lines, but thier prophets they follow are different yet the sects do not ever get along and are constantly at war with eachother. They beleive in one god and are from the line of Abraham, but don't tell a muslim that they are even related to the Jews because they would have a fit and claim sacraledge. Then claim jiahd and fight, but gosh they are such a peaceful religon, but who causes the most acts of terrorism in the world the muslims.
Christianity has a set of rules broken down to 10 commandments which are the noahatic laws, but originally Jesus would have followed 366 laws because he was Jewish. The reason why Jesus was so loved and hated in his time was because he was willing to accept gentiles into his faith. That everyone could enter into heaven, worship one loving god that had a plan for us all and even be forgiven for the "sins" we had commited if in our heart we were repentant and we stopped doing the things that we knew in our hearts were wrong. There are many translations of the bible and the king James version has been translated over four times from
Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and Old English. If you find a Hebrew Bible you will find the meaning to be a lot different from the King James Version. I think that is why Christianity is so difficult to understand, because the true meanings has been lost over time.
I used to not believe in anything I majored in Biology and everything had to be proven. Then I looked at the way nature worked and was set up. I saw the order that I though was chaotic. That the system was planned perfectly and there was really an order to all things and I started to beleive. I started to search for the truth and as Jesus said the truth shall set you free. Christianity is not as difficult as you may think to understand maybe find a different translation.

"And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter" (Acts 17:32).
That's the general reaction of most religions to the idea of the physical body being brought back to life. The polite ones mocked. The hypocrites said, "We will hear thee again of this matter." What they really meant was "when we want to mock some more." That was the Greek's reaction. It would also be how the Hindu and Buddhist react because they, too, wish to be rid of this body. They hear "resurrection" and imagine it would involve the same body, as if God was some kind of torture freak.
No, this body is cursed by us and our disobedience. Ironically,
it is illnesses that get a person's attention MUCH more than health. That said, the next body will be perfect in every respect and immortal. The real question is where one spends eternity in it.
As for Islam, pretty much everything about Christianity they refuse to understand, from God coming to earth in flesh to show us how we should live to Jesus' death satisfying the righteous requirements of a just and holy God. They don't get any of it.

A good question, why don't you tell us as there are countless millions of so called Christians who do not understand God's word or understand what Jesus was really saying. Read 2 Thessalonians 3:2 and 2 Corinthians 4:4 and you'll understand why there are so many unbelievers in this world as well as false Christians.

Everything! Like if you have ever read the bible or started to read the old testament you will see that god's were having babies when they were 2000 yr's old. That's where you first get confused and then it all goes downhill afterwards. But watching Veggie Tales helps explain it more clearly. I just wished they showed more Veggie Tales in class because the concepts are easier to grasp at times. Also because it is more entertaining then listening to a teacher yack on for hours.

While I do not agree with everything Christianity states, I do completely understand everything Christianity teaches from the bible. And as a Buddhist, I do not judge, or condemn Christians, but I respect the free will of all Christians, as I do everyone else in the world. Through Buddhism I have already found a stable peace of mind, and happiness.
Some people find peace of mind and happiness through Christianity, and that is great.
Some people find peace of mind and happiness through Judaism, and that is great.
Some people find peace and happiness through Islam, and that is great.
Some people find peace of mind, and happiness through Hinduism, and that is great. *And so on, etc.
We all {Humanity) must find our path, our way to lesson our suffering/dissatisfactions in life, to acquire peace of mind, and happiness, For we alone are responsible for our own peace of mind, and happiness; not leaving it in the hands of another.
We {humanity) by respecting the free will of others, will be one step closer to acquiring a stable peace of mind, and happiness.

Christianity is based on the person of Jesus Christ, who died on a cross for our sins, rose again, and is the only way to God the Father.
Not difficult.

Prepare yourself for loads of garbage. Christianity isn't hard to believe, but you're gonna get the crap, like, "No belief in evolution" (which isn't proven), "The idea of a dead person rising to life" (Ummmm...why?) and loads of other crap.
