how old is your dog?

i'm just curious as to who has the oldest dog and have you had him all of his life?

Mine Irish Wolfhound is 35 years old, had him since I was born!! He is blind, deaf and kind of slow-- but still likes to play and go out on walks. I made him a makeshift walker to get him up the stairs at night and bought him an elevated feeding stand.

I dont have the oldest dog but my labshepard did pass away on Christmas morning at 12 years old, we got him when he was 18 months and very well trained and we miss him alot we also have 3 Maltese and he was the BABY of the family though he outweighed them by 100 pounds!!!

9 people years, 53 doggy years- black lab male
1 people years, 12.5 doggy years- pembroke welsh corgi male
we think its about 3 people years, 29 doggy years but we dont know exactly because he was adopted from the humaine society.

Also a dog in people years cant live to 35. That must be 35 doggy years, which is only 5 years in people years.

I used to have a dog named Maggie, and she lived to 12 years, human time. (That's 84 years doggie time.) My parents bought her before I was born so techinically I had it all of MY life, but we only had her half of her life. My great-grandmother had a dog that lived to be 14 years old. (That is 98 years old doggie time!!)
