I have seen the green aluminum bottles for St. Patrick's Day, but I have heard that they make green beer in bottles? Is this true and where do you get it?

I doubt it, simply becaues it is impossible to determine just how much green beer to make, and any extra may not sell after St. Patty's Day. you can make your own green beer with food coloring, but it tends to make people sick...and that's a gross mess to clean up. I stick with the good ol Guinness...eitther a pint of that, a Black n' Tan or a Snakebite. Can't go wrong with Irish beer on St. Patty's Day! Slainte and Happy St. Patty's Day!

It is not true....Bud does NOT food color their beer. Bars do.No green beer from Bud.
AND WHY DRINK BUD ???? on St Patty's day !!
That's a SIN.
Enjoy a Guinness, Harp, or a Black and Tan.!!
Or better yet find and ENJOY a Smithwicks,
(Roasted barley, syrup and a combination of European hops. It produces an ale of brownish-amber color, with a thick, foamy head and moderate carbonation. A faint aroma of malt and copper leads to more effusive flavors of malt, roasted grain, sweetish caramel and a hint of fruit. While the finish is somewhat dry, the bitterness from the hops is well in the background.
With its medium body, smooth, almost buttery texture and clean finish, Smithwick's is an ideal St. Patrick's Day brew...
NOT BUD..!!

No. But I have had green bread, not the mouldy kind, but made with a green dye added. Plus green milk. Tasted peculiar. As for the beer. I don't drink alcohol, but I know a green dye is added to the beer. I am told It tastes the same. I am also informed that in Chicago the river has green dye added. It is all going much too far.

Budweiser Green is one of their clothing colors and sometimes on their racing equipment. But usually you'll only see the red and white.

Budweiser Budvar might superficially look like the common US beer from the signature logo, but it's a Czech beer. The green label is non-alcoholic (<0.5%).
Otherwise, Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser is the pale tan beer as always. BTW, have a beer with Johnny Appleseed (see bottom link).

I have never heard of such a thing, restaurants add green color to beer on the special day.
