I think that you should take it too the next level and date someone outside of your ethnicity. Just give it a try! I hope this helps you and if not. Good luck anyways.

You don't seem real confident about wanting to date outside of your race, so I'd say not to, simply because, you have to have no concerns for what other people think, when you become an interracial couple. There are enough pressures on the outside without internal issues. My advice to you, is to befriend this young lady & if you become more comfortable with the idea of becoming a couple, then go with it. Not because it's a trend, because that's the route you want to take.
By the way I'm a Pro-Black Woman, but I have been enlightened by my interracial dating brother. It wasn't an easy process for me to understand why he didn't want to date a black woman, but I came to the understanding that he has to live his life for himself, & he doesn't love black women any less, just because he doesn't date them.
No matter what you do~ make sure it's something YOU want to do!!

Listennnn... to ya boy. If you feel her and yall got something in common then go for it no matter if she black, brown, purple or orange. Don't worry bout people saying anything that them and their problem. Most friend worth keeping will not be bothered by it. So if yo diggin her do ya thing.

I'm also a black teenager, and my boyfriend's white. I say you should ask her out if you like her like you say you do, race wouldn't matter.

love and attraction changes all rules. you as a black male should be aware of racism and the fight for equality. knowing this, you should be free to date who you like regardless of color. don't promote disparity among the races. some people may not like it but they don't live your life------ you do.
