Do you insist on exact adherence to scripture, or do you allow yourself some leeway? Do you hold ideas that are not in step with Falwellian Christianity?

It would appear that you call exact adherence to scripture as conservative, so I am definitely conservative Christian. Let's be honest. Either you believe the Bible is the word of God or you don't. If you do, you study it, learn it and obey it. If you don't, you just created your own new religion, obeying those things which "make sense" to you and rejecting others. Give it a name, maybe Bobism or Larryism.

By that definition, I guess I'd have to say "liberal", although I think making Mr. Falwell the paradigm for conservative Christians is a little out there.

Both. With respect to presenting Christ to the world, tolerating others, and applying "Christian morals" on others, I am a liberal. With respect to behavior in the church, expectation of Christians with their lifestyles I am a conservative. I believe that once a person accepts Christ as Lord and Savior, he or she has a more stringent measuring stick with which to live by.

The teachings of God are first and then the rest no real leeway there. You either do or you don't and if you don't welllllll i feel sorry for you but i'll be on the elevator going up.

I'm neither. Why try to distinguish as to separate groups? We will all be in heaven together anyway when the time comes.

Hmmm..... I bet JF doesn't realize his name has been given as a new term to describe conservativeness in Christians!

I don't know. I'm a Born-Again Christian and trust in the Holy Spirit to guide and direct my path and in the understanding of His Word.

I am a Catholic Christian. A real Roman Catholic Christian. Orthodox as anything. We have our thoughts that are far and above the normal. It is like the Gospel of John. Just different.

I am neither. In fact, neither was Jesus, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Steven, Peter, Paul OR Mary!
I hold to what you'd call the Old Testament.

Conservative.
Scripture is scripture...nothing is to be added or taken away.

"See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it." Deuteronomy 12:32

"Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you." Deuteronomy 4:2

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." Revelations 22:18,19

(seems pretty clear to me.)

God Bless.
