how to i let him know I like him?

Question

I am a 16 he is 18 we go to school together. I like him, he may like me. ( I think he may like me but is not really SURE if i like him, even though i am always flurting with him.) I am a chicken and am not able to ask him out. I also doing think the girl should ask the guy out.
how should i tell him i like him, heres what i was thinking of-
writing him a note ( if I do what should it say)
start a confrsation about prom and say I have no 1 to go with
sent a text
or any other suggestion u have.

please answer i need as much help i can get.

if you guys are good friends then he probably does like you. if you really want to know for sure here is what you should do.. (it works everytime for me..actually it worked tonight!)

1. invite him somewhere funn.. like a park with a jungle gym and stuff..

2. act like a kid. make him feel fun and young tag him and say your it (if you guys have the hitting flirting friendship, then punch him in the arm!) then run!!!!

3. get really worn out and ask for mercy..

4. then he should give you mercy.. so then look at him and kiss him on his cheek. and linger there for a little bit then if he turns his head.. HE DEFINITELY WANTS YOU.

I don't think telling him by a note or text or over the internet is the best way. Saying it in person will be better. If you want him to know, you should try to give him hints. Maybe walk close to him that your arms touch when you walk with him. Or, keep looking at him, trying to catch his eye, then smile. Giving hints will make him start to guess. You could also flat out tell him. I know what that feels like though. You need to get the courage. A lot of people will probably tell you to tell him, but they don't understand how hard that is. I do like your prom idea also. Sending him a message by saying you don't have anyone to go with, might be the best way. And if he says "as friends" don't get your hopes down. Guys tend to say that to get the girl guessing. Well, I hope you choose the best way. Good luck.

Okay for a conversation, if he asks you something like...what did you do yesterday? Say something like...Oh well i went to the mall dress shopping, i cant wait for prom. And then he'll become interested and be like ohh and might ask you who your going with and say something like..well i dont really know yet, i want to go with someone that i'd have a really good time with - pause - Hey, would u wanna go with me? But dont write him a note, guys get a little weirded out and doubtful cause they might think its from someone teasing them or something. Good luck!

ask him who he likes after a while he will catch on and ask u the same ?. tell him straight out and look him straight in the face.
