He has a lot of family problems as well. Should I go out with him? Would that affect me?

I don't know how old you are-but get away and stay away from him until he quits the drugs. How would it affect you? You would be hurting, emoitonally, and you could-hypothetically, if caught with him by the cops on a DUI, or something like that, and drugs were to be found on him, or in the vehicle, you could be in huge legal trouble. You don't want that for him, and definitely not for yourself. I don't know what his family problems are-but he should see if he can get some professional counseling on those issues. You could tell him that he needs to get off the dope, ASAP, so he can think more clearly when in counseling about the family problems. Take care.

Don't give him the time of day.
Your going to be in for a lot of pain if you get involved with him. I wouldn't believe a thing he says while he's on drugs. For example he's going to clean his act up or he's going to straighten up. I'm sure he'd like too and I'm sure he might even believe it but I definately wouldn't get involved with hoping things are going to get better. They won't get better until he's off the crap and it's a lot easier said than done.

No. Unless you want to be like him. Remember "birds of a feather flock together". Whatever he is into he will get you into...it's hard to resist when you are with that person. Go find someone who is decent and not doing drugs. Drugs will get you in trouble and worse of all dead! Do not go down that path!

No No No...Bad idea..there are way to many GOOD ones out there for you to start a pattern of picking the wrong ones..IF he ever straightens out his life if he doesnt DIE first then give him a chance about 40 yrs from now.
