Why does my girlfriend hit me??

She hits me every time i see her and if i fight back she sprays me with pepper sprey. Why does she do this??

This is not a healthy relationship and i don't believe that you love someone if you are willing to physically hurt them. What's with the pepper spray, next time she sprayd you take it off her and spray her, that is just ridiculous. You need to leave these woman and find someone who will treat you good, not like this. This is domestic violence and just because it's a chick doing it is no excuse. You need to leave this girl and do it now before it gets any worse. I grew up with d.v being the norm in my house but i hated every moment of them fighting and wished i was never around. Get your dignity back by leaving this woman and never look back at her ever. 1st off to help answer the question it would help if we had the ages you guys are. It would also depend on how hard she is hitting you. If its just a lil playful punch I wouldn't worry about it too much. If she's hitting you hard enough to hurt then you have a problem and the only reason you have to hit her back is if your defending yourself. Honestly though if she keeps spraying you with pepper spray all the time I'd step back and take a look at the relationship......either she's spraying you to defend herself or you need to find a new girlfriend.

I cannot believe that you don't have sense enough to stop seeing someone who abuses you. She has a problem and needs help. If it were me, she'd either have to go to an anger management class or some place else and get help OR I'd be in the wind. Why do you keep seeing her? Do you enjoy getting hit and sprayed?

Why don't you seek out someone who'd rather get to know you and enjoy your company? On the other hand, if you get some sort of sick thrill out of this kind of abuse stay with her and stop complaining. You decide. Good luck

Are you sure she is your girlfriend? It sounds like that she does not want you around or the two of you have a strange relationship.
To be honest, she does not want you around and and you need to find another lady to be with, that is a dangerous situation you are in, and you could wind up in jail or the hospital if it escalates.
It is not a safe relationship.
