Calorie burning won't change depending on the time of day but I like exercising in the morning. Exercising at night can make it hard for some people to go to sleep.

Some studies show that exercising in a fasted state(mornings before breakfast) your body is more likely to tap into stored body fat for energy instead of other ingested calories. Calories equal energy so it makes sense. If your goal is to drop body fat quickly you might want to give it a try. No cold water while you are exercising because we burn body fat by something called thermogenesis, that is creation of body heat. thats why its called fat "burning". Drinking cold water styfles that desired fat burnning effect. Room temp water is good.
God Bless~~

In the morning, before breakfast. You'll get your metabolism up for the rest of the day.
If you want a further kick to your fitness/weight-loss do something different in the evening after dinner.
If you do cardio in the morning, do resistance/strenght in the evening.
Don't over-train.

whatever time works best for YOU. I tend to find that if I don't do it first thing then I will put it off the rest of the day though.
