Yes, you're right. Juice contains a lot of sugar, even 100% juice.
However, most experts will say nothing in moderation is "bad" for you on a deit, or just being healthy. Drinking a glass a day is not going to harm your body. Juice still contains vitamins. If you are only drinking juice though, I would rethink it.

Juice has a high amount of sugar and carbs. So if you are trying to lose weight it isn't good to drink alot of it. You should try to get the juice that has no added sugar only natural. You could also drink diet soda if you want to reduce sugar intake but water is still your best option.

Good and bad.
Natural juices, more than those that have been processed, are diuretics (due to their high potassium and falanoid content), alkalizers (in spite of their own acidity, they reduce the acidity of the blood and tissues), mineralizers (because of their high mineral content) and have invigorating effects (due to their high levels of sugars and vitamins).
However, the drawbacks to juices are such as:
- Yhey are not substitute for fruit as they always contain less fiber (pectin) and if they are not freshly prepared, fewer vitamins.
- industrially juices, particularly apple juice, may produce diarrhea and indigestion
-preschool-aged children that drink more than 360ml (approximately 2 glasses) a day of industrially prepared juices have a greater tendency toward obesity and slower growth rate, possibly due to the fact that these juices contain to much sugar, whicj reduces appetite, and very little protein. It is not healthful to always drink juices in place of water.
-Excessive consumptin of acidic juices erodes dental enamel and produces hypersensitivoty of the dentine (toothache).

Juice has natural fruit sugars in it too. If it is 100% juice. Juice is good for you, but too much is not. Everything is all about moderation and balance.

its ok to have sugar but not too much. people just dont want you to have sugar pops because sugar packs a lot of calories with no vitamins, but juice has vitamins. the diffrence of juice and a whole peice of fruit is the fruit has fiber.

The sugar in fruit juice is fructose, and excess sugar will turn into fat. So excess amount of juice is not good for you.

yeah it has a lot of sugar, it just depends on the type whether it comes from corn syrup like pop, or natural sugar like fruit.

Juice isn't bad for you, but if you are to drink fruit juice, I would recommend you going for the actual fruit itself. There are less calories in comparison to when you are drinking the fruit juice.
