Year and mileage need to be a factor here.

check the completed auctions on eBay. You can use the search feature to eliminate all the junk by asking for 'vw beetle' in the US (or whereever you are) with a minimum price of $1000 (that eliminates most of the parts).

Then you can filter out the ones you don't want and have a good price overview of the remaining ones.

Remember that these are the costs of the car 'as is - where is' and that people also (hopefully) figured in shipping or pickup costs.

Good luck

If this beetle is going to be in good condition..... you won't find on any less than $10,000. A Beetle in good condition and mileage around 50,000miles and less, standard, hard top... you are probably looking at right around $12-13 thousand. Of course a 2005, 06,07 would be much more than that. The prices are going to vary, its been to find a beetle you may want to buy, and check it on kbb.com
good luck!

new beetle or old beetle?

you should be able to pick up a nice old beetle for about 2 grand? if you can work on them they are even cheaper. I have 3 that I picked up for 400 dollars each

as far as new beetles go, sorry I don't know much about them

1960's,70's,80's, 2000's??? I've seen bugs range from$500-25,000. You might want to revise your question, please. I would look at a Kelly Blue Book,Carfax,or local dealerships to give you a better idea..

Good luck
