i was jumping on the trampoline and all of a sudden my right knee started to hurt ..like intense pain its a little swollen but it grinds and makes a weird noise now to..what happened?

You might have snapped your ACL (a ligament in your knee). Just to be sure the damage isn't permanent, I'd recommend you make an appt. with your doctor soon.

When you get chronic pain in the knee, it is time for the Dr. You need to get an x-ray to check your bones, then an MRI of the knee to get a picture of the damage inside. You could have a meniscus tear, or possible ligament tear. Check out www.kneeguru. com, and you will get some ideas as to what you might have going on inside your knee. You can also ask questions on this site , and get a reply from a Dr. Good luck.

Probably you had a muscular tension. But just your doc can tell you the correct prognosis.
