Let me start by saying this isn't a, "omg I need fake sick school tomorrow HELP!" question. The past two weeks I've had scattered blackouts which I'm assuming are fainting spells. Yesterday I was sitting at my desk finishing up some homework and suddenly my vision got incredibly blurry. I woke up a few minutes later in on hallway floor a couple of meters away from the room that the desk was in. I made the mistake of keeping it to myself the first few times but I was genuinely scared after realizing I'd moved at least five meters before I finally fell. My parents think I'm faking to get out of school, giving me the "Take some Tylenol and lie down" routine. Anyone know a way to convince them I'm telling the truth before I crack my head open at school?

Well, most kids when faking don't ask to see a doctor. Ask your parents to make an appointment for you. If they won't do it, talk to your school nurse. She should be able to help you convince your parents you need medical attention.

Why can't they take you to the doctor AFTER school that you don't miss any but they find out what's going on? I mean, I've had kids out three days to maybe run into a member of a boys band in town or Elvis' birthday (I'm not making these things up!), but yet this could be serious and your folks can't take you to do the doctor after school? Strange!

Tell your parents what is going on. With out them knowing what is happeneing they wnt be able to help you and they wont believe you. If you just talk to them and tell them you are like passing out every now and then. tell them you need to see a doctor, this could be something serious. it might not be though. my vision gets really blurry and i sorta black out because i have very low blood preasure and i fall/ stumble and i cant see anymore for about another 3 minutes. Maybe you just have low blood presure, you will never know unless you tell your parents

Sit down with you parents and tell them what happened and say you are afraid it might be something serious. Tell them to take you on a weekend so you don't miss school.

Shannon1981 gives an excellent answer. I could add nothing to it. She deserves the points.

Ask them to take you to a physician.
