In the first Star Trek Next Generation episode (Mission at Far Point) the show opens with Geordi giving the punchline (above) to a joke, and Data doesn't get it because humor is a human concept he has yet to master. They refer to the joke again in the movie "Generations" when Data gets an emotion chip. He begins to laugh uncontrolably because seven years later he finally gets the joke.
But, do they ever tell you what the blasted joke was?

This is another unanswered joke that has bothered me for years. The other one is from The Breakfast Club - it however has the joke but no punch line so maybe just maybe they go together - let's give it a try:
A naked blond walks into a bar, with a poodle under one arm, and a two foot salami under the other. She lays the poodle on the table. Bartender says, "I suppose you won't be needing a drink." The naked lady says... but the Ferenghi in the gorilla suit has to go.
Still missing something.
