I just took 3 different tests on Asperger's Syndrome online. On the first one, I scored just above the line, 2nd one I scored just below the line, and on the third one I was WAY over the Asperger's line. I'm really scared right now, because I've read that people with Asperger's grow up lonely and things like that. Should I be concerned about the results, because I'm freaking out right now.

The only way Aspergers can be diagnosed is by a psychologist/psychiatrist, so if you're really concerned, the best thing to do is to make an appointment with one. As for the growing up lonely part, that's not true. It all depend on the level of aspergers. My brother has it, and is mostly normal, just has some social awkwardness and problems with fine motor skills, but he still has friends, and does very well in school. And an interesting fact...Einstein had Aspergers.

My Son has Asperger's and for one thing do not rely on a test you take on line! You need to be diagnosed by a Psychologist for one and each person is different. Yes it is an emotional socialization disorder, but are you going to be lonely and so forth? Only if you make yourself that way. It was hard for my son to make friends easily at first when he was diagnosed at the age of 6 but he started opening up and he is doing really well at age 14. Asperger's folks tend to be loners when it comes to working because they may be ones who work with computers, etc. It is high functioning Autism but no it doesn't mean you are mentally challenged. It is under the category of pervasive developmental disorders. Look it up on the Internet if you are worried, but the main thing is to get a diagnoses first before you give yourself a real health condition like a stroke or a heart-attack;lol!

Don't freak out. All three tests came out different. Relax. Go and talk to your parents if you live at home, or your school counselor. I work at a school and know a boy with Asperger's and you can not even notice that he is different. Get tested by a professional.
