This isn't what you asked, but after years of yo yo dieting the smartest thing I ever did was to stop counting calories and just pay attention to what I eat. When I cut back on carbs/starches/sweet and ate well with good sized portions of good food I easily lost weight and kept it off. And I found that having the stuff I cut back in was fine long as I did it in moderation, generally individual sized servings of something.

I think what you had was perfect, esp the pinch of cheeses as that gives a rich taste. So I'd suggest forgetting calories...I wish I had years ago. Any weight lost that way always came right back on, plus I felt like I was suffering.

And to directly answer I agree with the poster who said it mostly depends on your dressing...that is where most calories are in a salad since most dressing are very fattening. But it looks healthy when you are eating it lol.

It depends on what kind of salad dressing and how much of it you had.
