No, it wont work... and if it does work, the cat may absorb enough peroxide to now have peroxide poisoning as well as whatever he took
Take him to an ER VET NOW. Info your vet will absolutely need: Name of the pill (preferably the generic name), size of pill in grams, how many, and how long ago it was ingested. You may just take the bottle if it has all that information available.
Since I don't know what your cat swallowed, I can't tell you how urgent it is, but likely your cat will not only need to be forced to vomit, but will also need to be force fed activated charcoal to prevent the system from absorbing anything until the medication is cleared up, and any antidote depending on the drug ingested and/or supportive care like fluids. Do NOT wait until there is change in behavior, for some meds, when clinical signs show up is already too late!!!!!! Good luck w kitty!!!!!

If you haven't already done so at this point, call your nearest emergency vet clinic and explain what medicine was ingested, about how much, and around what time it occurred. They will most likely request that you bring your cat in immediately.
If you have already taken the cat to an ER vet, I hope they were able to help you. Please keep in mind for future reference that cats tend to be more sensitive and have more severe reactions to drugs and medications than most pets. Home remedies like aspirin and Tylenol that work for dogs are deadly for cats. Some products such as Hydrogen Peroxide, Milk of Magnesia, and Dramanine can be used in cats, but in very small, controlled doses.
Please make sure all household medications, drugs, and cleaning agents are stored safely with tight fitting lids, and out of reach from curious pets.
In reference to giving a home remedy, often times it is safer to have a professional veterinarian examine and treat your pet, especially in cases where you think vomiting may need to be induced. Some substances are corrosive and can cause even more damage to your pet by inducing vomiting than flushing it through.
If you suspect your pet has ingested something poisonous you may also call the National Animal Poison Control Center at (800) 548-2423, or (900)680-0000. Emergency consultation is available 24/7. Please be aware they do charge for calling.

Most cats will not with vomit with Hyd Per. You can only use a small amount-no more than half a table spoon. You really need to get off the computer and call an emergency vet. Better yet, go to an emergency vet. Human medications are very bad for cats. Getting treatments started may be more important than wasting time on the computer.
This is the number to the National Animal Poison Control Center. You can call them to find out what you should do.

Hydrogen peroxide is not intended to be injested by any animal. Call your vet and see if the medication is hazardous and if not just observe the behavior and rush to the vet if any symptoms occur.
