my guy is not to prtective of me. he lets his best friends smack my butt! he laughs and when i stand up for myself he gets mad and tells me to "chill". it makes me mad! this othyer guy is sooo much better! he is not my guy but he stands up for me and never lets anyone hurt me or treat me bad. he is sooo great!!!!!! what should i do i love my guy but i dont feel safe with him and he doesnt seem to care to much for me.

Dump him. Find a man that would kill for you and protect you from stupid people. That's the kind of respect you need. You should be the most important thing in his life.

You need to first think of the current relationship. Do you love him really. If so are you compromising the love for yourself to be with him. Are the things he doing enough for you two end the relationship with him. Have you told your bf how it makes you feel when you are put in that situation. For the guy you like. Don't start a relationship with him. It will better to be his friend first for a while. Starting a relationship so soon after ending one could end that possibly good relationship. Focus more on how your current relationship goes first. I hope all goes well.

Go with the second guy. I know a girl name Rachel and it's basically the same thing. She has a guy but he doesn't treat her well, always hitting her and poking her wit pen. I like her and i tried to tell her but she didn't believe me.
Go for the nice guy he deserves it and you'll be much happier trust me, it mught hurt at first but you have to let it burn and move on if is not going to stand up for you...........

dump your mans *** baby. If your man cared about u he wouldn't let others smack your butt. It's sad that your boyfriend wont even stand up 4 u when another guy will. So get with that guy, and dump that jackass of yours!

Your current guy (is he your bf or husband?) definitely doesn't seem too caring.
I would, if he's your boyfriend, advise you to consider dropping the zero, and start dating the other dude.

If he doesn't care much for you and you don't feel safe with him then break up with him.
But don't go jumping into another relationship as soon as you break up with your guy.
