I bought an indoor antenna for my television and it says on the box I may need a band separator for installation. I have it plugged in and I can only get one channel. I did not know if having a band separator would help or not.

Wow! They still sell those things? It used to be (in the 1970's I think) that TV's had two antenna inputs: one for VHF (channels 2 to 13) and one for UHF (channels 14 to 88.)
