My 2 year old will go to sleep easily after a good night story. But she then gets up after sleeping @ 4-5 hours and then after she goes back to sleep she wakes almost every hour, and will get up for good by 4am. I'm exhausted and I work full time. Please help!

Break the habit. It is up to you to help her develope normal sleep habits. When she gets up the first time- put her back and tell her it is time for bed.Tell her all the world is sleeping and it is not time to get up until the sun is up. Evertime thereafter, when she gets up, simply lay her down and tell her it is time for bed. There should be no other words said because the more you say, the more stimulated she gets and the less apt she is to sleep. And when she wakes up at 4 AM- do the same thing. "Time for bed", lay her down- thats it. If she cries- let her cry. Your point has been made and you need your sleep...and so does she. She will eventually catch on and within a week she will be on a normal sleep schedule. The more you put up with, the more she will think it is alright. Dont let her think it is okay.

Read this book: Healthy sleep habits, Happy child. My soon to be 2 year old goes to bed at 6 PM and wakes at 6AM. Good luck!

well she may feel comfortable around you let her sleep with you for a night or two and if she wakes up comfort her give her some warm milk or juice. Then after that tell her goodnight if she gets out of bed again simply tell her u luv her and tuck her bac in if this keeps repeating then just tuck her bac in and don't say anything eventually she will learn.

Good Luck!
Hope this helps
