I'm asking this seriously, not as to offend anyone, just to see what people who "know" or "believe" differently than me think.
For the Christians -
Do you really think that the earth is only thousands of years old?
If you think it's older than that, how do you explain dinosaurs?
For those who aren't Christians but don't believe in evolution.
Do you think dinosaurs were made up?
Do you think fossils are fake?
If they are fake, who made them up?

Ok...I'm not going to read job. Let me rephrase, do you believe dinosaurs existed when carbon dating said they did, aka millions of years ago, as opposed to the bible which was fairly recently created.

After mount.St Helen in Washington blew, people found that lava aged the Earth very quickly.Earth around the lava appeared to be much older then data they had.
I don't know how old Earth is,I do know God spoke the Word and the Earth was formed.
God did not give us much detail on ,What he was doing. How many people He created ,and so on.I just know that I love Him and He loves me.<><

The planet’s coming into existence is recounted in the Bible with the simple statement: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Ge 1:1) Just how long ago the starry heavens and the earth were created is not stated in the Bible. Therefore, there is no basis for Bible scholars to take issue with scientific calculations of the age of the planet. Scientists estimate the age of some rocks as being three and a half billion years, and the earth itself as being about four to four and a half billion or more years.
As to time, the Scriptures are more definite about the six creative days of the Genesis account. These days have to do, not with the creation of earth’s matter or material, but with the arranging and preparing of it for man’s habitation.

According to the Bible things before the flood lived to be around 900 years old. And it is a common known fact that lizards never stop growing correct? Could you imagine how big dinosaurs could get in 900 years? Big enough to be called a dinosaur? Hmmm.... I think so,
And as far as them going extinct, there were two different atmospheres before and after the flood, they began to live shorter and shorter lives, thus going smaller..... And some would not get big enough to reproduce. And thus go extinct....
Then also man hunted them, there are thousands of tales of men killing dragons from all over the world right? Where did they come from. One painting showed a dragon with circle patterns on its skin. We then later found in another area some fossilized dinosaur skin that had circle patterns on it.... Hmmm.....
Alexander the Great said they were scared by dragons while in India..... Hmmm.....
If you want more then just email me, I know a ton about how dinosaurs fit in with Bible and the young earth.....
Also they word dinosaur didn't appear until 1841, so it seems logical that they called them dragons because they didn't know about dinosaurs. One chinese art talks about having a royal dragon feeder. Why would it say that? Maybe there were dragons? Then another man said that the Emperor of China used to raise dragons to pull his cart around in the parades? Why? Maybe because it was true....
Please feel free to email me

This is what I think : I do not concern myself with worrying about how old the earth is. I do not concern myself with dinosaurs. I do not concern myself with anything that takes my thoughts off of where I am in my life and in my walk with God.
I could care less about the things of this world. Jesus said to not be of the world. Think and live and walk in the Spirit, and you will become closer to God than you ever imagined. The Lord seeks such people to worship Him in this way.
I will leave worrying about the age of the earth and the ins and outs of evolution to those that make that the most important thing in their lives. Argue it until the rapture, if that is what you wish.
I will say only this - in the book of Genesis, God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth. Can you REplenish something that never had life on it in the first place ? Hmmm.............

I think the answer is right there for everyone to see unless they chose to ignore it and follow their animal instinct to deny the existence of a very intelligent and complex design going from the smallest particle in your body to the massively huge galactic order.
When people chose to ignore the creator it’s chaos everywhere and science can try to answer what it wants it can never explain how the world we live in was initiated in the first place, they ago as far as a big bang but cannot answer the simple question of who caused the big bang to happen in the first place or why ? They can tell you come from a monkey but they cannot explain why monkeys or any other animal for that matter hasn’t evolve into a humanlike creature or even developed the ability to speak, to feel, to have morals and boundaries or the intelligence and arrogance to make up crap about theories that doesn’t make sense about how he came to be !
They tell you a creator is out of question but when they’re stuck in their answers they just say we don’t know how or why !!
Science would be much more productive and would make much more sense it if accepts one and only one concept, the presence of a creator and sustainer of the universe. If only we accept that everything falls into place and suddenly makes sense !!!
I will finish by quoting one of the most imminent scientist of our time, someone who shaped the very core of modern science, Albert Einstein himself, on his death bed he while trying to write the so called “theory of everything” said to his nurse “God is not hiding anything from us, he only wants us to look harder…” take the hint…
PS: God does not equal church, I will not dictate which faith should be followed or which God is the true God but it’s you duty to search and find out for yourself, just don’t take the easiest option… your parents or your society does not necessarily hold the ultimate truth…
Peace !

Many fundamentalist Christians believe that dinosaurs are all fake, and that the Earth is only thousands of years old. They believe that everything in the Bible is absolute truth.
But many Christians are willing to accept science and religion together. For example, the Roman Catholic church has officially accepted evolution as a contributing explanation to life as it is.

I believe in the Bible record. It is pointless to argue about the age of the earth because God can created things aged.
It is a mistake to think that the partial record is false. Dinosaurs have never been an obstacle for me in accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior. It was my heart's condition prevented me from feeling His existence and placing my faith in Him.
I do not care how this earth was made up. I know God was behind this operation.

Wow, I am a Christian, but I believe in evolution. For your information, Charles Darwin was also a Christian. The majority of the world's greatest scientists today are also Christians.
